Dreamland Bedding is a New Zealand owned wholesale supplier of mattresses, beds, headboards, kids beds and bunks, bedroom furniture, and pillows. Since 2012, we have grown to supply over 70 stores across both islands of New Zealand, and the number continues to grow. We focus on the mid market segment where value, range coordination, and reliable supply matter most.
If you run a furniture or bedding retail business and you are evaluating new brands to add to your range, this page covers how we operate, what makes our offer different, and how to apply.
We have built our operations to keep wholesale pricing sharp and your stocking decisions simple.
No minimum order quantity. Test a single Chelsea or commit to a full range. Either works. Lower entry friction for new partners, lower stockholding risk for established ones.
Ex warehouse from our Auckland base. We hold stock in our East Tamaki warehouse and you arrange the logistics that suit your business. Whether you use your own truck, a freight partner, or consolidate shipments with other suppliers, you control delivery timing and you avoid paying for freight you would not have chosen yourself. This keeps our wholesale price competitive.
Just in time inventory with weekly container deliveries. New stock arrives in our Auckland warehouse on a weekly cadence so our shelves stay current. Our operational goal is to keep fill rates above 93 percent so you can order what your customers want when they want it, without long lead times.
We supply across four broad product categories, with a price ladder built for the mid market segment.
Mattresses: our flagship is Pegasus, an affordable luxury queen with pocket coils, natural latex, CoolGel memory foam, FreshGuard fabric, and EdgeGuard foam encasement. Lincoln sits below as our hero volume range, recently upgraded to a 7 zone Precision7 pocket spring system. Titan is the firm value entry that the market asked for. Liverpool is the workhorse, our highest volume mattress for over a decade. Plus the Chelsea mattress in a box for retailers who want a self contained delivery format. Talk to us about specific tier pricing.
Bed bases and frames: kitset bases (Takapuna), 2 drawer storage bed bases (Miramar), gas lift up storage bed frames (Newtown), upholstered bed frames, pine bed frames in the popular NZ rimu stain (Reefton, Kaimai), and trundler beds (Chelsea, Liverpool). Range covers value through to upholstered design.
Headboards: upholstered headboards across multiple palettes, named for NZ suburbs (Epsom, Kingsland, Parnell, Ponsonby, St Clair, and more). We are extending the headboard palette range through 2026 in response to retailer demand.
Bedroom furniture: bedside tables, tallboys, and dressers in coordinated suites named after NZ locations (Orewa, Tokoroa), designed to match the bed frames in our range. Suite coverage scales from two bedroom apartments through to four bedroom homes.
Dreamland Kids: our dedicated kids and bunks sub brand. Tested to AS/NZS 4220 with third party test certification held on file. Designed to grow with the child from toddler bed (around age 2 to 3) through to teenager.
Pillows: now barcoded with official GS1 NZ barcodes for clean POS scanning. Adapta adjustable pillow, Reviva Align, and Reviva Bio Curve memory foam models. Additional Relaxa range models will be added as GS1 packaging refresh completes.
We do not publish wholesale or RRP pricing on this page. Specific pricing is shared as part of the application and onboarding conversation. See the consumer facing product range at dreamlandbedding.com for the full catalogue.
Three things, beyond range and operations.
Consistent product vocabulary across the range. Precision7, CoolGel, FreshGuard, EdgeGuard, and MiniCoil are Dreamland’s product vocabulary across the range. Threading these terms through our consumer product pages, our packaging, our trade conversations, and our retailer training builds brand recognition and helps your sales staff articulate the product features clearly to customers.
NZ designed mattresses, sourced offshore for everything else. We design our mattress range in NZ for NZ sleepers, including specification, comfort level, fabric choice, outlook, and logo design. Bed bases, headboards, bedroom furniture, kids products, and pillows are quality imports, sourced to fit NZ homes.
Market intelligence as a partnership benefit. We track NZ market data to inform our range planning and we share relevant insights with our partner retailers. A better informed retail floor sells more. Ask your account contact for the latest brief.
We want to be a strong line in your range, not your only line.
No exclusivity required. You are welcome to stock Dreamland alongside any other brands you carry. We have been a complementary brand alongside other premium ranges in many of our partner stores for years.
Range breadth allows differentiation. Our range is wide enough that two retailers on the same road can build distinct Dreamland lineups. Some range overlap is normal; full range duplication between adjacent retailers is rare.
Each application is considered case by case based on commercial fit and the current shape of our retail network in your area. These are unilateral commercial decisions made by Dreamland as the supplier. We will discuss the specifics with you during the application conversation.
What you can expect when you stock Dreamland.
Field sales representatives work directly with stockists. Your account contact understands your market, visits in person where useful, and is your day to day point of contact between the warehouse and your store.
Digital product assets: high resolution product images, swatches, brand logos, and lifestyle photography for your website, social posts, and in store collateral. Available on request once your account is active.
Coordinated floor sets: we can recommend room sets (mattress + base + headboard + bedside) that work as a coordinated display on your floor. “One base. One palette. One story.” Less floor planning work for your team.
Product training for retail staff: we brief your sales floor on how to position the range, what differentiates the technology features, and how to handle the common consumer questions. Brief sessions can be in store with a rep or remote.
Inspire blog at dreamlandbedding.com/inspire/: our consumer content engine. Includes content on sleep performance, mattress selection, and product education that your sales staff can use as customer facing reference material.
