Description

The Takapuna is a kitset (KD) bed base, the next evolution of Dreamland’s long trusted kitset design. Wrapped in premium fabric in Midnight Grey or Sandstone, it pairs laminated slats with new wood look legs for a clean, elevated aesthetic, and a raised side rail height for a more balanced profile, all while keeping the durability and rigidity the range is known for. Delivered in a box, it is a smart solution for tight staircases, compact hallways and modern builds, and is ideal for cash and carry, student flats, holiday lets and anyone wanting a cost effective, self assembled base. Pair it with the Chelsea mattress in a box for a fully boxed bed and base solution. Part of Dreamland’s New Zealand bedroom range, the Takapuna is sized for NZ homes.

Care Instructions

  • Vacuum the upholstery regularly on low suction with an upholstery attachment
  • For marks, blot (do not rub) with a clean, lightly damp cloth and a little mild fabric cleaner, then air dry
  • Check and retighten the assembly bolts after the first month, then periodically
