Description

The Charlie Bunk Bed is a simple, modern kids bunk and a blank canvas for a child’s room. Clean lines, a smooth painted finish and a compact footprint make it easy to style, from playful colours to calm, neutral bedding, and the ladder and guardrail can be set on the left or right to suit your room layout. Choose Single over Single or Single over Double, and complete the look with the matching George white bedside and tallboy, and an optional trundler or storage trundler. Part of Dreamland’s New Zealand bedroom range, the Charlie Bunk is sized for NZ homes.

Features & Safety

  • Designed to align with AS/NZS 4220, the New Zealand and Australian bunk bed safety standard
  • Full length top bunk guardrails with a reversible ladder and guardrail (left or right)
  • Top bunk is not recommended for children under 9 years
  • Use a top bunk mattress no more than 20 cm high to keep the required guard rail clearance
  • Sleeps two without stealing floor space; choose Single over Double for extra room
  • Coordinates with the George white bedside and tallboy, and the matching trundler

Care Instructions

  • Check and retighten all bolts and fixings after the first week, then monthly, as bunk beds settle with use
  • Confirm the guardrails and ladder are secure before each use
  • Wipe with a soft, slightly damp cloth and dry immediately; avoid harsh cleaners and abrasives
  • Do not exceed the recommended top bunk mattress height, as a thicker mattress reduces guardrail clearance
