Description

The Westhaven Tallboy gives you four drawers of folded clothing storage in a footprint just 690 mm wide, the vertical answer to the floor space question most modern townhouse and apartment bedrooms eventually ask. Built from MDF with a high-gloss grey walnut finish, the tallboy uses the same vertical chrome bar handles and polished chrome feet as the Westhaven Bedside, so the two pieces read as part of a single tailored suite rather than a matched set. At 1120 mm tall, the Westhaven Tallboy sits at a proper adult use height: deep enough to hold a season’s worth of knitwear, tall enough to work as a landing surface for a lamp or small plant. The top drawer is lined in soft velvet for jewellery, watches and small valuables. Includes a wall-anchor safety kit as standard. Arrives fully assembled.

  • Assembly: Arrives fully assembled. Wall-anchor installation required before use.

Care Instructions

  • Anchor to the wall before loading drawers using the supplied safety kit. Never skip this step. Tallboys over 1 metre can tip forward when multiple drawers are open.
  • Dust weekly with a soft, dry microfibre cloth.
  • For marks or fingerprints: Wipe with a lightly damp cloth and a drop of mild dish soap, then dry immediately.
  • For chrome handles and feet: Wipe with a dry microfibre. Avoid chrome polishes with abrasives.
  • Never use ammonia, bleach, alcohol, solvents, glass cleaner or abrasive sponges on the gloss finish.
  • Do not overload top drawers. Keep heavier items (denim, knitwear) in lower drawers to maintain stability.
  • Open one drawer at a time to reduce forward load when accessing contents.
  • Lift, do not slide. Any item placed on the top surface should always be lifted off, never dragged.
  • Use felt pads under any hard based decorative items.
  • For the velvet-lined drawer: Brush gently with a soft clothes brush or vacuum on low suction with an upholstery attachment. Do not wet the velvet.
  • Keep out of prolonged direct sunlight. UV exposure can gradually fade the grey walnut tone.
  • Check the wall anchor once a year to confirm it remains secure.
