Dreamland’s Commitment To You During COVID-19
As COVID-19 continues to develop, I wanted to update you on new procedures we have in place to help keep our customers and the Dreamland team safe as we continue our service to you.
Our sales people are still available
To ensure our service to you continues, our sales people are working from home.
They’re available to assist you during normal working hours
You can contact them by phone, email, whatsapp, wechat or any other messaging service
They have remote access to all necessary systems and information
All onsite meetings with our customers are cancelled until further notice
We are still delivering
At this stage our delivery schedule is normal, but our interaction with customers during deliveries has changed.
We now:
Avoid physical contact and keep at least three metres between staff and customers at all times
Let your store know we’ve arrived and ask for advice on where to put the stock
Unload as instructed and let your store know when we’ve finished
Ask your store to check the delivery and sign the paperwork, which will be left at the back of our vehicle
Collect the signed paperwork, ensuring the three metre distance is maintained at all times
Special deliveries and onsite inspections are suspended
Due to the risks involved for everyone, we can no longer support requests to help you with home deliveries or onsite inspections and repairs.
Pickups from our premises are still OK
We continue to welcome pickups, however the following new procedure applies to prevent any chance of contact between our people and yours.
Please send two people, as we will not be able to help your driver load your vehicle
Advise your people to stay in their vehicle on arrival
We will assemble your stock and leave it close to your vehicle, along with the paperwork
Your staff can then exit their vehicle, confirm the stock is correct, sign the paperwork and leave it for us to collect, then load their own truck
Pickup driver health
If your drivers or staff enter our premises showing flu symptoms or we discover they have travelled in the past 14 days without isolation, we will ask them to leave immediately.
If our staff show flu symptoms
If you believe any of our staff are showing flu symptoms, please:
Ask them to stay in their vehicle
Call us and we’ll ask them to leave your premises immediately
Helping to ensure our people stay healthy
We’ll make every effort to maintain our hand sanitiser supply, so our staff can sanitise their hands as often as possible, such as before and after deliveries
Our office, kitchen, toilets and vehicle are cleaned daily and we no longer allow visitors onto any part of our premises, including the warehouse
Our staff will receive flu shots as soon as they become available
Communicating with our logistics companies
Notices forbidding visitor entry are displayed on the front doors of our premises
We are providing pamphlets to our logistics and trucking partners highlighting the new requirements for deliveries to us, driver health and access to our premises
We look forward to continuing our service to your business during these uniquely challenging times.
If you have any questions, please get in touch.
