Last year turned NZ’s retail furniture market into a rollercoaster. During lockdown people spent a long time in their homes, which made many of them unhappy with their décor. The result was a boom in furniture sales as soon as consumers had freedom to shop again.

Later on the economic impacts of Covid set in, leading to dips in sales – even during normally busy times. It all added up to a year of ups and downs; hard for you to predict and often difficult for us to service.

We don’t know what 2021 has in store for the NZ retail furniture market, as the world recovers from Covid, but we going to do everything in our power to help you through.

2021 – the Year of Great Ideas

To get 2021 off to a good start, our reps are going to meet with every Dreamland customer throughout the country to gather ideas and feedback. If you can think of something that could lift sales or improve our service, we want to know about it. Nobody understands the process of selling furniture better than you, so your insights are important to us. Expect to hear from your Dreamland rep soon.
